Is it possible to test order on live store using unpublished theme?

Hello everyone,

I want to test order on live store without showing the customer test payment gateways on unpublished theme.

Is there any way to test order on live store ?

Shopify does not have this feature before publishing the theme.

you can do after publish the theme according to test order details.

By following these steps

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Payments.

  2. If you have a credit card payment provider enabled, then deactivate it before continuing. Click Manage > Deactivate (this button also shows the name of your payment provider, for example Deactivate Shopify Payments), then confirm your deactivation.

  3. You will now see the Third-party providers section. In that section, click Choose third-party provider.

  4. On the Third-party payment providers page, choose (for testing) Bogus Gateway.

  5. Click Activate (for testing) Bogus Gateway.

  6. Go to your online store and place an order as a customer would. At checkout, enter the following credit card details instead of genuine numbers

We are facing this same issue. The response above does not solve the problem as we cannot deactivate our current payment providers as our site is live with constant traffic. How can we submit a test order without affecting the customer’s shopping currently?
