I am an architect that would like to sell my house designs/plans. Is it a good idea to do it with shopify? Do you know anyone else doing so? and if yes, what theme / steps would you recommend for me?

It depends on how you plan on selling them. If you have premade designs that you want to sell, Shopify would be a pretty good solution. It could also work if you charge a flat-rate fee to create designs. Shopify allows you to sell digital products, so you can set it up to immediately offer the download to your customer. Selling your house designs and floor plans using Shopify is a great idea! If you sell pre-made designs, you can sell them as a digital product. Your customer can receive the digital download immediately after purchase which is excellent to offer your clients! Yes, but mostly for the digital house plans. Most architects use it for gated downloads and licensing. Pick a clean theme with strong galleries, include digital delivery apps, clear terms of use, previews, and lead capture. Begin with a small number of flagship plans and validate demand early fast.
