Is selling cannabis seeds on an e-commerce platform legal?

Hi,

I’m looking at moving from woocommerce to shopify to build a new cannabis seed website for the EU.

I understand that I can’t use shopify payments and need to get a third party payment gateway.

I just don’t want to put all the time into building a site to have it shut down by shopify.

Is it breaking any rules on shopify for selling cannabis seeds. They will only be sold in countries where it is legal to purchase.

I’ve read articles where shopify have shut down stores because they decide they are not happy anymore with the products being sold.

Has anyone any experience on this. Or is there a shopify expert that can let me know.
