Can you sell CBD on a UK based pharmacy/health shop website?

Shopify offers guidelines on selling CBD in the United States and Canada only, and while selling CBD in other countries may be permitted, we do stress that the merchant has the obligation to comply with all applicable laws and regulations both in their own jurisdiction and in their customers’ jurisdiction. For this reason we do suggest doing your own research about the legality of selling CBD in your region and that you consult with a legal professional if you are unsure of your obligations.
Please also note that the sale of CBD products cannot occur via Shopify Payments, our own payment gateway. You’ll need to find a third-party gateway that allows for the sale of CBD products via their payment processing services.
Yes, you can sell CBD on a UK-based pharmacy or health shop website — as long as the CBD products are THC-free (or within legal limits) and properly labeled. Just make sure you’re sourcing from a compliant supplier and not making any medical claims.
Also, if you’re using Shopify, keep in mind their payment gateway doesn’t support CBD in the UK — but I highly recommend using Wall ID (Wallidpay). It’s made for UK CBD/vape businesses and works perfectly with Shopify.
