We periodically host in-person warehouse sale events and want our shoppers to be able to use their Shop Pay installment payment accounts if they wish. It didn’t appear to be an option on ShopifyPOS so I wondered if that’s something we can do, or not?

Great question!
At this point in time, Shop Pay Installment is not integrated with Shopify POS. The only workaround would be for you as the merchant to email the customer their cart so they can checkout on mobile, where the Shop Pay Installment will be available.
After the email is sent, the order is saved as a draft in Shopify until the customer clicks the link and completes the checkout. When the customer has paid for their cart, the draft is saved as a completed order on the Orders page in Shopify.
Speaking of sales, I don’t know if you have anything planned for BFCM this year, but now is the time to make some preparations. BFCM is one of the biggest sales weekends of the year and sees the start of the holiday season as well. Every year my go-to is this BFCM Checklist. It allows me to make sure that I am making the best use of my time and resources and it really helps take the pressure off by starting early. It is well worth the read should you be interested!
