I would like to know if and when Shopify Payments will be available for South African companies?
Thank you for expressing your interest in getting Shopify Payments launched in South Africa. We do have an existing feature request where other merchants have expressed their interest in this as well. I’ve added your vote so our teams know there is continued interest in launching Shopify Payments in that region. We can’t say guarantee when or if this will become available; however, our teams are always hard at work trying to launch Shopify Payments in as many regions as possible so I’m hopeful we can bring this to South Africa within the near future.

Add my vote - I currently make use of Payfast which works out to 2.9% plus and an additional 2% to Shopify for admin charges- What a ripoff? . Does anyone have an alternative solution
