No, the POS only works on iOS, so iPads and iPhones and perhaps some android devices. Likely to be remain this way.

I have 5 new desktop that I was using as POS like all other Pos user from Intuite, they worked great. iPad are very small in order to use them as POS in my store; moreover, IPad only last about 3 years. Thank you for your help.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, @Dcache ! I have passed this on to our developers. For the time being, Shopify POS works with the compatible devices listed here. I don’t have a workaround for using POS on desktop, but I know that our developers will take your request into serious consideration.
