Hello. virtual Help Center cannot answer my question and I don’t know who to contact. I am currently working on creating my website on Shopify. I heard that Shopify is temporarily providing free plan (relief credit) for Ukrainians. Is this still relevant now? If yes, please write what is needed for this.
Hi, @Anton22 !
Welcome to Shopify Community.
Thank you for sharing your question with our network. I’d be more than happy to help you out with this today.
It is true that Shopify has provided temporary relief credits to our Ukrainian merchants. This is applied in the form of account credits and is evaluated on a case by case basis after determining that the business owner is either based in the Ukraine, or can provide documentation showing refugee status with proof of a recent Ukraine residence. To have this added to your account, you must connect with our Support Team directly.
We hope this effort allows our merchants to feel supported by Shopify in these difficult times.
P.S. In the future if you require support from a live agent, you can simply type “contact support” in the virtual assistant chatbox!
Warm regards,
Not any more. They sent to all Ukrainian businesses an email on Oct 28th with a title “Important updates on our relief credit programs”. They made the email as difficult to comprehend as possible, very vague wording. But the gist is “we have made the decision to conclude this program as of Dec 2, 2024”…
