Are the paid themes in Shopify a one time charge or is this monthly?

Themes are one time charge and can also update if the theme provider updates. If you add shopify Apps might be monthly charge depending on Apps

Theme purchases from our theme store are one-time, non-refundable purchases.
You won’t need to pay again to use the same theme on your store, but it would also not be possible for you to get a refund on a theme purchase due to the digital nature of this product.
Not to worry, as you can add and preview a theme in your own store before you commit to purchasing it!
You can even start editing this theme to see if it will suit your business needs and would only need to pay to purchase it if you wish to publish it live on your store.
