Is suspicious checkout activity on my store a concern?

Hi,

Over the past few days, I have seen some suspicious checkout activity on my store. All the checkouts are for the same product, done under different names and addresses. I see the activity under “Abandoned checkouts” and they are either denied as “Card declined” or “Card expired”. Is there something I need to look out for?

Not really. Maybe the cards are stolen and someone is just trying them to see if they’ll work? Nothing you can do to prevent people from trying, the fact that they’re being declined means you’re about as protected as you can be. So don’t worry about it! Maybe since you’ve identified a pattern you’ll want to look closely at the risk details of any successful orders for that product before you ship it.
