Is the new inventory transfer interface less efficient?

Anyone else notice the new inventory transfer design/user interface is not as easy to use or efficient as the previous version? In particular, if you want to accept the entire amount (count) for a given item, you either have to type in the value or use the up/down arrows. With the previous version, you could quickly/easily accept the entire amount at the line item level with just a mouse click.

I hear you. I have so many issues with the new Transfer UI. It’s totally broken. In addition to the issue you mentioned, here are a few others:

  1. When adding products to a transfer, infinite scroll is broken, so there is no way to reach items further down on the list because it just stops scrolling.

  2. When adding products to a transfer, there is no way to filter by Product Type, Vendor, etc. Especially combined with #1 above, this makes it nearly impossible to locate products when you have a large catalog.

  3. Bulk action to create a Transfer from selected products on the Inventory page doesn’t work. A transfer is created, but no items are added.

Overall, the UI is much harder to use, and working with Transfers has become so much more inefficient (and in some cases impossible). I sent all this to Shopify support, but got no workarounds or fixes, just a “we’ll pass this on to the developers.” Frustrating.

I can’t believe more Shopify users haven’t mentioned this. In addition to the items you mention, when you put a tracking number in, it no longer automatically creates a link to the shipper so you can no longer track the shipping status from within the transfer.

Anyone from Shopify care to comment about this?

Transfer is broken for us.

Absolutely awful. We use this when ordering more inventory. It’s utterly useless now. I can’t add even 4 items to a transfer, let alone 50.

Just trash “upgrade” after trash “upgrade.” It’s like Shopify is actually de-evolving right before our eyes. You’d think they would test changes before making them public. I don’t know how they show up for work. Utterly embarrassing coding. It’s like someone is intentionally sabotaging Shopify.

I can’t believe I paid in advance for 2 years. Please fix ASAP!
