Is there a better way than shutting down stores and affecting people's business and life?

Shopify shutdown my just launched company store after just changed the billing method without any prior notice. It’s a severe frustrating situation to see your advertized business new shop unavilable just changed the billing method.

I launched the brand store a week ago and got some sales because it’s our agency in our region and I already have offline customers and I directed them to the online store for fast and better payment and delivery.

I started a social media advertising campaign mentioning the store URL and it started to gain traffic.

I used Paypal as an initial billing method during the first 3 months of long and hard time setting up the store (1 $/month) then I decided to change to my company’s bank debit card for tax and expenses reason. But all the sudden and just attempt to replace the Paypal, everything is shutdown and there is no store anymore although there is pending payouts.

I tried to quickly find the customer support email or link but totaly lost to find a way to contact the support, I youtubed it and I finaly found the way, deep in the net of help site’s pages and links .

Although the members of the support teram are polite, kind and helpful but my problem persists and woud not solved till now. I got many tickets from different supportive team members because I could not wait for ever while I am loosing my very hard to gain customers and business.

I am woundering why Shopify just shutdown the hard to build business for people such as myself who are verified and have submitted all my personal details, Company liceense, EIN, verified bank account and so on.

We all should fight fraud but I kindly ask Shopify to contact its customers before taking this very aggresive action and to ask for extra verification and if they do not accept Depit cards, they shoud mention it not to shutdown people’s source of living.

Shopify is a great platform and I hope they can solve my problem very very soon and to not let me face any problem with the pending payouts to the bank of the previous sales.

Solved .. Thanks Shopify. The store is online again after very long two days waiting. For every one he can face this serious and frustrating unavailable store situation, please do not use debit card for billing your subscription.

Thankssss i am doing whatever i can do to stop my stores from shutting down I tried changing deposit bank accounts, email, even vpns none of that worked. I’m gonna try what you said and I hope it works.
