I’ve spent a LONG time working on my store and am about to launch. There was a lot of customization involved: code changes, photography, writing- months and months of work! I use the Rewind app and back up my products onto a .csv file- but I want to know if there is a way to save EVERYTHING onto an external USB drive.
If something were to happen and I lose everything I want to be able to have all of the data needed to completely one-click and restore everything. I want to be able to save all of my work so I can put it on a drive.
Is that possible?
You can download d copy of your theme using the native Shopify backend features and that contains all the code modifications you did on your template.
Other than that you can use Shopify native features to export Products, Customers and Orders.
If you want to export other data like Pages and Blog Posts, you need a 3rd party app.
I suggest you to give a look to Matrixify (was Excelify before). I am not affiliated, but I have many clients that use this app and it is a great help.

I’ll take a look at the app, thank you for the suggestions! Thanks for the advice about exporting everything as well, I’ll look for an app to save blog posts like you suggested.
Of the popular brands I can’t recommend any particular one, look at the reviews and choose the amount of storage you need. I know what it’s like to lose the files you need. One time my hard drive failed, it just clicked when I turned it on, I couldn’t download information from it (or even just view it). I turned to Data Recovery for help and was very pleased with the result. In short, if you want to restore everything in one click, a simple utility is not likely to help. Consider backing up to an SSD in advance - that will be the best solution to your potential problem.
