Is there a way to double space or create custom text boxes?

I’m trying to make something similar to this where each specific symbol (in this case a triangle) represents a point in the production process. The problem is that Rich Text takes multiple spacing as a single spacing. As a result, all my text are just cramped up. Could anyone help? Looking forward to any response!
