Is there an analytic to see how long people are spending on my store? Session time? Analytics? I’m trying to see if I am getting bots or not . I seem to be getting traffic and people aren’t interacting with the website at all.

Analytics are an excellent source of information that can help shed light into customer behavior ensuring you are targeting the right market along with viewing how effective your selling strategies are.
For the information you are looking for, I recommend using our Sessions over time report for a full breakdown of both the number of visitors and sessions. Once you pull up the report, use the filters over to the right-hand side to narrow down average session time as such:
Here at Shopify we understand that bots are a reality of the e-commerce world and how they can pose as a nuisance to businesses looking to investigate store performance. Therefore, we take preventative measures to determine types of traffic that will exclude bot data from being recorded.
As such, these reports can take up to 48 hours to fully update and present the most accurate information.

Also, if you’re new to Shopify you may also be surprised to learn that a decent conversion rate can be 1-2%. Even the top store performers will fall in the 3% range. What does this mean for you specifically? To put it simply, for every 100 target market customers, it’s possible only 1 will reach checkout and convert.
