Hi Tira, is there a way to edit the format of the shipping label. For example, it is printing our shop name and the customers name twice. See a screenshot of the label below.

The format of a shipping label depends on which carrier and class you choose when you’re buying a label. You can’t edit the label format because each carrier has specific requirements for their labels. However, there are some apps like Multi Carrier Shipping label app that helps you to format your labels according to your needs before you start printing.
And yet again we see the scammy shopify answer to problems that paying customers are having: “Sorry, we can’t do anything about it, please go pay another monthly fee for an app that provides the exact functionality that we claim we can’t implement.”
RIP OFF
Same thing with double printing shipper and recipient’s name twice in UPS purchased labels in Shopify. UPS says it’s a Shopify problem and NOT ONE PERSON in the whole universe knows how to fix this apparently. It’s 2023 people, not 1989.
Hopefully this helps someone. What we need is a permanent setting for 3.5 x 5 labels. This should not be so hard. Here’s a work around.
- Select 4x6 labels (for multiple orders as well).
- The result is a downloadable PDF
On Mac Preview App, you can simply say “print”, then change the print size to whatever you want (in this case 3.5 x 5) and print that way, or save to a new PDF and then print. I assume Windows has a similar PDF to Print option.
I’ve tried to find a system setting to make the default label form 3.5 x 5, but I can’t, so I assume such an option for custom label default sizes does not exist??
Unfortunately, these options don’t work - the listed solutions don’t come up on shopify - there is no change format button.
