The corresponding relationship between users and items added to the shopping cart cannot be obtained. Ask for help. Best wishes.
Hi @plexins9 ,
Regarding your concern, unfortunately, at the moment there is no way to track the specific items that were added to cart. However, in case the customer has clicked checked out, and he (or she) has filled in the customer information form but then changed his (or her) mind and left the page, the data will be stored as abandoned cart. For this specific type, you can send follow-up email (which is supported as an automated email by Shopify) to re-convert that customer to finish checkout process for their abandoned cart. You can check out this instruction article to learn more about abandoned cart email: Recovering abandoned checkouts · Shopify Help Center
There is one more way that can help you to track and re-marketing the products that were added to cart, that is to add a pixel tracking (Facebook pixel, or Pinterest Pixel) or Google Remarketing Tag to your website, and then use the data collected from the pixel tracking (or Google remarketing tag) to launch ad campaigns. That way, you can use dynamic creative advertisement to target the product to the customer who added it to cart.
Hope this makes sense and helps you well with your store’s growth.
