Is there strategy on website content beyond PDP verbiage to increase discoverability by AI? I.E. landing pages, blog style content, backlinks, etc.
This is David from SearchPie here!
Instead of relying solely on individual product pages that might sell out, you should build incredibly rich, permanent Collection pages.
AI models prefer to cite stable, authoritative category pages that thoroughly explain your craft and processes, which gives the AI a highly structured, permanent destination to cite when recommending your brand.
For your blog, move away from traditional keyword-stuffed posts, as large language models are highly unlikely to reference them. Connect your content directly to the specific problems your products solve using natural language and clear feature-to-benefit statements. Additionally, use HTML tables to compare items directly against competitors, and wrap any educational questions in FAQPage schema to spoon-feed the LLM the exact format it wants for conversational outputs.
Rather than chasing generic backlinks, trade them for “niche digital PR”. Reaching out to niche bloggers, independent digital magazines, or podcast show notes can easily establish your brand’s topical authority for generative engines.
Hope this helps!
Building strong collection pages and using structured data like FAQ schemas is smart. It is way better to focus on topical authority than just chasing random backlinks.
