I received an email 2 days ago that a review had been done of all low-ranked stores and that I was at risk for closure. It advised I needed to reach out to someone and provided a link but when I click on it, it prompts me to download another app called Telegram to message the person.

It also only gave me 5 days to turn this around. I am just now starting out and I realize I haven’t uploaded products yet but I’ve been working to purchase our first round of inventory and that takes time.

I guess my question is, is this email even real or is it just spam? I don’t want to download the app and then message the person and it all be a scam. Has anyone else dealt with this?

Hi @mmburnell ,

This is a bad actor/scammer, and the senders domain is mail.ru.
