I made some post on reddit about shipping times problem I was having and people reached out to me. One promised 5-7 days shipping time but when I started to talk with him more he said that he would also do marketing, store management, fulfilment and basicaly everything for price of 200$. Is this legit?
That’s always a good question, and there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. You’ll have to figure that out for yourself. However, a wide range without references is always a sign that you need to proceed with caution.
If you’re just looking for an agent, search more specifically. Source people in your network and contact them directly. Ask them to provide you with websites, references, or other information.

Of course, there are some who are not listed. We weren’t listed for long either until we met the requirements. However, here you know that they have a certain amount of experience.
This is an example of a reference you can request. E-commerce is a big shark tank worldwide, where many sharks just want to make money. There are also many decent people, but they are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
