I keep getting emails from people I don’t know about “fixing” my Shopify site.
I never respond to them - this is the latest. Is this legitimately something I need to worry about?
“The homepage Start Creating section currently shows a public security/restriction message inside the embedded content area instead of helpful storefront content, creating a visible trust leak mid-page.”
Unfortunately, most of these messages are spam/scam.
They make you worry about problems which often do not exist or not important and ask the sender for help.
Not replying is the best you can do.
Rather invest your time in testing your store content and functionality with different browsers/devices.
If you believe some of their claims are true – do not hesitate asking it here (though even here not all answers are genuine help).
yes, most messages you get about “fixing” something on your store leads to scams. So disregard them.
But as tim said invest your time in testing on your own. And I would add, invest time in checking Store Feedback category as there are a lot of tips on how to improve your store.

Tbh, that email’s a scam, not a real warning. Ignore it.
Your start creating section is just a Vimeo Video.
If something looks odd there, it’s likely a Vimeo setting issue,
not your store getting hacked, and you can also fix it by yourself in your theme video block.
Don’t click anything in that email, just delete it.
Yes.. exactly.. simply ignore it.. if you are not interested.. specially keep eye on emails domain..
Most of those “fix your store” messages are scams. Best to ignore them and focus on testing your store yourself. Watch email domains carefully to spot fakes.
