Is updating to Dawn 9 beneficial for store speed?

I have Dawn 6.0.2 for a long time.

Is it worth it to update to Dawn 9 in terms of Store speed?

There have been a ton of updates to the Dawn theme, since your current 6.0.2 version.

However, there aren’t many changes that affect the store speed itself. Changes in that regard are mostly limited to image optimizations, but it’s nothing drastic.

Always going to recommend using the latest version possible of any given theme, to have an optimal experience.

Depending on the amount of customizations done to your current theme, it might not be worth the effort, if your only concern site speed.
