Does anyone happen to have a contact number for Shopify’s accounting/tax department? I have been trying to update my EIN since March of 2021 with no luck. I have contacted customer support by email and phone more times than I can count and I keep being told my request is in their queue. I’d like to have my correct EIN attached my account asap so I dont run into any issues with my taxes for 2021. Any insight on how to get Shopify to address my request would be much appreciated!! I am extremely frustrated with Shopify’s lack of customer service and inability to help assist with such a simple account change

To clarify, this team works exclusively via email and will respond to you as soon as they’ve had a chance to review your request. If our Support team has already confirmed that your ticket is in the correct queue, there is no further action required from you at this time.
I recognize that it isn’t ideal to wait for your EIN to be updated. However, I can assure you that the Merchant Tax Support Team will be following up with you as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
