Issue Creating Automatic Collection using Product Tags

I’m trying to create a new collection based on product tags. The products have multiple tags including the collection the product is from. The issue I’m having is that when I select product tag and go to set the condition, the only option that is selectable is “is equal to”. I need to be able to use the “contains” option since there are multiple strings in the tag.

Is there a setting somewhere else that would cause other options such as “contains” to not be selectable?

Hi @JackieHubbard
You can add multiple tags as collection condition.

Thank you for the reply, but my post was not clear on the issue. The tags have the collection name and several product categories, which is why I need to use the ‘Contains’ options. The product options need to be ignored since they are variable within a collection. I want to setup a filter for the collection like this:

“Product Tag” contains “Collection Name”

The only currently selectable option “is equal to” will not work correctly because there are multiple variable strings in the product tag. It seems like a software bug to me that I can’t select anything else but “is equal to” when parsing the “Product Tag”. Nothing is greyed out, just not selectable.

I just out something that I was not expecting. The systems is treating the values in the product tag not as one large string, but comma separated options. So I was able to select the collection from the drop-down list of string and the filter did work like I wanted it to.
