I’ve noticed all apps now have an option which states what kind of speed impact it’ll have on a user’s store.
While this seems like a good addition for most apps, it’s an issue for some. One of my apps does not make any changes to the frontend of the site, it loads no scripts nor has 2.0 sections. For that app, and many others like it, it’s exclusively backend. For that reason, it doesn’t have a ‘low impact’ to an online store - it has no impact.
I know the app store is changing to increase installations, but this example would deter many users from adding the app - despite there being no impact to their site.
Thought I’d flag.
