ISSUE : Same button redirecting to 2 different pages according to website's language choice

Hi,

My website has two versions : French & English.

I have an issue with one of the home page buttons “DISCOVER” : in English, it’s redirecting to the correct blog post, but in french it’s redirecting to a complete different page (that does not exist).

The blog post does actually exist in French. If you follow a different path you can end up on it, it’s just this button that is causing trouble.

How can I fix this ?

Thanks a lot !

It SHOULD redirect to: https://daiquiriparis.com/fr/blogs/news/our-natural-stones-their-virtues

Instead, on the French version, it’s redirecting to: https://daiquiriparis.com/fr/collections/body-chains

Theme: Dawn 6.0.2

Website link: www.daiquiriparis.com

Picture of the button:

When I click on it through the English version:

When I click on it through the French version:

To fix the issue with the “DISCOVER” button redirecting to the wrong page in the French version of your website, you can follow these steps:

  1. Access your Shopify admin panel.

  2. From the left-hand navigation menu, go to “Online Store” and click on “Themes”.

  3. Locate and click on the “Actions” dropdown menu for the Dawn theme, then select “Edit code”.

  4. In the code editor, find the file named “locales/fr.json” and click on it to open it.

  5. Search for the key that corresponds to the “DISCOVER” button text. It might be something like “homepage.discover” or “homepage.hero_button_text”.

  6. Once you find the key, update the value of the key to the correct URL: “https://daiquiriparis.com/fr/blogs/news/our-natural-stones-their-virtues”.

  7. Save the changes to the “fr.json” file.

Hi,

Unfortunately, I did not find anything remotely related to the homepage buttons on fr.json.

It looks like it’s more related to all Shopify backoffice translations (carts, legal notices, etc.)

Hey, do you have any other idea on how to fix this ? Thank you…
