We are using the Dawn theme, and have seen several empty cart pages from Safari mobile users. One visitor came back multiple times during several days. We read the postings on the discussions from last year where several merchants reported having the same problem. Some said that it was fixed… but we haven’t read what fixed it for them. We only have 1 app installed - Hitsteps Analytics. All other apps have been uninstalled, and we do not see any sign of leftover code. We’ve contacted Shopify support - no real answer to fix this.
So far this represents thousands of dollars of transactions.
Is there any new info… or solutions. Is it browser caching… new online privacy issues?
