Issue With Checkout Cart Is Emptying On Mobile Devices

We are using the Dawn theme, and have seen several empty cart pages from Safari mobile users. One visitor came back multiple times during several days. We read the postings on the discussions from last year where several merchants reported having the same problem. Some said that it was fixed… but we haven’t read what fixed it for them. We only have 1 app installed - Hitsteps Analytics. All other apps have been uninstalled, and we do not see any sign of leftover code. We’ve contacted Shopify support - no real answer to fix this.

So far this represents thousands of dollars of transactions.

Is there any new info… or solutions. Is it browser caching… new online privacy issues?

Where do you see this safari mobile user, do you see it in shopify admin panel or it’s in Hitsteps dashboard?

this issue exists on every site using the dawn theme, including on shopifys own dawn theme demo (https://themes.shopify.com/themes/dawn/styles/default/preview) using safari on iphone. clicking the ‘add to cart’ button triggers the ajax drawer, and appears to add the item to the cart, but the cart page doesn’t contain any products. this is a major issue.
