Dear Support Team,
I am currently in the process of building my new Shopify store using the Horizon theme. I wanted to change the customer login method from “login via email code” to the classic email and password registration, which I selected in the settings.
However, after making this change, the login behavior remains the same—customers are still only able to log in using the one-time code sent to their email. There seems to be no visible change on the storefront.
I have tried looking into modifying the theme’s code to resolve this, but unfortunately, I don’t have the technical knowledge to do it properly, and my attempts haven’t been successful. Could this issue possibly be related to the custom domain I recently purchased and connected to my store? I would really appreciate any assistance or guidance on how to make this change work correctly.
Additionally, I’d like to ask: if I decide to keep the “login via email code” method, will I still be able to implement features such as loyalty points programs and discount codes for individual customers?
