I am facing a very serious issue that is causing significant disruptions to my business, and Shopify’s support has been unable to assist me (a support system I believe to be 100% AI-driven and entirely inefficient).
All of my products being sent to the Meta catalog are being marked as “Out of Stock,” even though they have active inventory in Shopify. I have followed all standard procedures to check for inconsistencies, but it seems the issue lies in the data being sent to the catalog. I can confirm this because the same products are correctly listed in Google’s Merchant Center.
I contacted Meta through the support provided in the app, and their engineers informed me that they are indeed receiving information from Shopify’s API that the products are out of stock. Evidence of this is the attached screenshot, which shows that after I manually update the status in the catalog, it reverts back to “Out of Stock” during Shopify’s synchronization.
This is a critical problem for my business because it prevents us from running ads on Meta, directly impacting our sales. As mentioned, Shopify’s support is not efficient in deeply analyzing my issue, providing shallow and AI-generated responses in their chat. I need help to resolve my issue, which has been ongoing since 12/02 without a solution. Please help me! Thank you!
Thank you.
