Issue with USD/ EUR Free shipping setup - guess du to currency conversion

Topic summary

  • Offer: Free shipping for orders above 69 in the customer’s local currency (USD for US, EUR for EU).

  • Issue: An EU customer spent ~64 EUR and still received free shipping because the system treated it as ~70 USD, exceeding the USD threshold.

  • Reproduction: The store owner confirms they also get free shipping at ~64 EUR when testing from Europe.

  • Configuration detail: In the shipping rate setup, the “minimum price” field displays a dollar sign ($), while the Europe flat rate label shows EUR. This suggests the free-shipping threshold is being evaluated in USD rather than EUR for EU orders.

  • Request: Guidance on how to configure the rule so Europeans must meet 69 EUR specifically, and how to change the currency used by the “minimum price” setting.

  • Artifacts: Two screenshots of the shipping setup are attached and central to understanding the configuration.

  • Status: Unresolved. Key question remains whether and how to set currency-specific thresholds for different regions (USD vs EUR).

HI there,
I have following offer in my store: All orders for US and European Union above 69 USD/EUR (therefore - the customers local currancy) can enjoy free shipment.

Situation today: A customer ordered for 64,xx EUR from a european country and got free shipment, because this is 70,xx USD. By right the customer suppose to pay shipment, since 64 EUR < 69 EUR. I have verified it by my own in the store, and get the free shipping as well.

How needs to be the setup done that Europeans have to purcase at least 69 EUR and not USD in order to get free shipping?

Thats how the setup looks like:

I am wondering that the minimum price shows $ and not EUR. I guess thats the issue.
The europe flat rate shows EUR…
If this is the problem, how to change the currency?
