So I have this client I’m working with to build his Shopify theme and I’m trying to run the ‘shopify theme pull’ command to login and pull the themes from the store of which I’ve been given partner access to but for some reason I keep getting this error ‘You are not authorized to use the CLI to develop in the provided store.’ which I find ridiculous because I was just working on this theme just last week and everything was fine but I had to change my laptop’s hard drive because of some issues it was having so coming back to work on the project yesterday and I keep getting that error and I’ve asked the client if I still have access and he confirmed I still do and I’ve been able to see that I still have access via the store admin.

What do I do?

  • Login agian and confirm theme having the develoipment access.
  • Make sure it is a development store and try shopify pull agian
  • Restart and clear shopify CLI cache
