Issues with header page not opening after creating nested menu in Dawn Theme

I am trying to add pages under the header About Us in the Dawn Theme. When I create the nested menu, the About Us link stops working it won’t open the page. Any solutions?

yes it will become a drop down button and when you click on about us the dropdown will appear where you place the newly created page, you need to customize the theme code and it will fix that.

I recommend trying the following:

Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code

Find Sections/header.liquid
Locate all summary tag

Add the code below: For Parent menu item

Hopefully you can solve this. If not do let me know i can do it for you
