We have integrated our Retail Express POS with Shopify, and have found a few issues.
Firstly, we can’t find the setting which allows online orders in Shopify to flow through to Retail Manager, rather than just receiving an email, and manually entering them into Retail Express.
Secondly, we have switched on the order alerts for online notifications, but they don’t seem to be working.
Thirdly, we had tracking inventory turned off in Shopify prior to turning on the integration with Retail Express. However, Retail Express overrides the setting and then our Shopify website showed out of stock for many items. To rectify that, we downloaded the Product Master List from Shopify, adjusted the Track Inventory column and uploaded it again into Shopify. Not all the inventory was adjusted. Essentially we want the customers to be able to order when the product is sold out or in an out of stock situation.
Fourthly, for some reason when a customer selects a product, it now shows as one particular size and colour, even before selecting a size or colour. And after ordering the product in another size, the description still shows a particular size, not the actual size ordered within the order.
