We are manufacturing company and export bulk orders to importers in other countries. We do not sell products online. Can we make our website on shopify. Is it good for us to choose this platform for our web presence and further getting business from social media marketing.
Using a wholesale app, you can custom price items for your wholesale customers / importers in other countries. Through those systems you can set up purchase orders or have manual fulfillment in shopify settings, where collecting payment isn’t automatic - so they’re submitting basically purchase orders. Which if proceeded with, you can charge their card “on file” or mark off once its deposited etc depending on how you operate.
You would need to have customers manually register their details so you can give them a password or access to your store etc.

Right. We need website just for product showcasing and customers can
contact us through email or phone as every customer has custom requirements
like branding , packing and order volumes. Payments can only be done in
company bank account. So there is no online check outs ,no product buying
online. It’s just that we want to optimize our website for SEO. So in this
case is Shopify good …
