Hello, I’ve added a “You May Also Like” item slider under the “Add to Cart” button using an app and I quite like its placement. However, keep it there with the app requires a monthly subscription that is currently a bit expensive for me. Is there another method to implement this item slider without the app, perhaps using code?
Yes, as @WesMitchell says you can include the product recommendations section from Shopify on that spot. And with a bit of adjustments you will be good to go.
But how can I add the product recommendations block there? It can only be added as a section under the product information section, but I can’t find a way to add it as a block in the product information section.
Yes, what i meant by putting it there was to actually use the code from that section and either add it as a block or directly add code under the button.
Oh, I get it. Thanks. But one more thing, I am not good at coding. Is there a code for adding a slider to that section?
Yes, I use swiper.js mostly for adding sliders to anything I need to. You can look that up on YouTube on how to integrate it with your site.
It’s not tough, even if you don’t have coding experience but if you have some understanding of it, it will be much easier.
