Items per page selector on collection pages

Hi, my client has asked us to add a couple of selectors to the collection page - we’re using a theme based on Dawn.

The client would like an ‘Items per page’ selector (12, 24, all)

… and a view selector

We’re pretty together developers we can do this but don’t want to if it can be done within the theme. If we do have to do it, please can we have some pointers as to where to start?

I don’t really understand your requirement, have you done it or are you looking for a tutorial?

A tutorial would be great, I want to start by finding out if its possible.

We’ve build the markup fine in the facets form but are unable to get it to ‘save’ so the page can access the data once it reloads. The facets are new to me in Dawn so I’m very wary of mucking them up.

Yes, that’s right.

I think the simplest way is you create templates for it, then build links and point to the templates, it will work well, you can refer to the link as follows: /collections/nam-collection?view=12
