I’m currently working with Shopify + TikTok Shop. Sometimes I have to switch between three backends in a minute, and I’m always worried about inventory synchronization issues. For example, a popular earring style sold out on TikTok, but Shopify still showed 8 in stock, leading to overselling. How does everyone manage unified cross-platform management?
Cross-platform operations are really energy-consuming, especially the inventory part. Later, I used ERP as a middle layer to connect the inventories of the store and TikTok. Systems like 4Seller can automatically deduct inventory and synchronize orders, reducing the number of times I need to switch backends. It’s useful, but it takes some time to organize the products in the early stage.
