I've had no sales, someone help

Hi. I’ve had my store a few months and have no sales. What am I doing wrong? This is my only source of income and I am very worried. Somebody please help

this is my store: merchvortex.shop

Probably need to fix your marketing or adspend.

Research https://community.shopify.com/c/forums/searchpage/tab/message?q=no%20sales&noSynonym=false&collapse_discussion=true

You will get plenty of glossy useless answers like change your slideshow, or add a discount popup etc etc etc

The reality you need to address is that: there is no magic fix for this, opening up a store online is not guaranteed income.

Just because you built it doesn’t mean anyone knows the store even exists or wants it’s product if they happen to stumble on it.

When a business model is not working the only actual fix before failure is you need to fundamentally learn everything your doing wrong to stand a chance of fixing things.

The first is self awareness of the horde of others with the same poorly defined problem:

Filter between the store-feedback forum and the marketing forums.

Read as many of those as possible, learn the mistakes , find your commonalities and address them.

Good Hunting.

Nice products. Are you getting visitors? If yes, what is your website’s bounce rate?

Hi there!

First off, kudos to you for taking the leap and starting your own store. It’s completely understandable to feel worried when things aren’t going as planned.

However, there’s always a way to make improvements and get better. Here are my humble suggestions on areas you can work on to improve your store:

1. Optimize Your Fundamental SEO:

It’s crucial to get the basics right. Ensure your meta titles and descriptions are well-optimized both technically and strategically. These are what potential customers see in search results, so they need to be compelling and relevant to your products.

  • Keep your meta titles around 65 characters and your descriptions around 140 characters.
  • Avoid duplicate title tags and meta descriptions.
  • Check if you have any non-indexed pages.

2. Enhance Product Descriptions:

Make sure your product descriptions are well-crafted to answer all potential questions that might arise when visitors are browsing your products. Clear, informative descriptions can significantly influence purchasing decisions.

3. Utilize GA4 for Data Insights:

Integrate your Shopify store with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to gather data that can help you better understand your ecommerce performance. For example, decent product-level analyses can provide insights into what might be going wrong and where improvements can be made.

Although there’s no magic formula for overnight success, you can keep experimenting and optimizing, and you’ll see improvements over time.

Warm regards.

Identify why you are not getting sales. Monitor customer data. I would recommend use heatmap ( free: microsoft clarity ) to monitor your visitors. See how many customers adding your products to their cart and checkout.
Also check how they are interacting. You can also identify bot traffic and real users. Hope it helps:)

Thank you so much for your help
