Please be Honest!!
Why do yall have the same exact format of post? Is there a form you guys are filling out, or a copy and paste instructions on how to post about this topic? And why does no one actually do any reading? It’s sign up and then post the exact same thing within a minute and no searching. Just curious
As for the site itself, well I think I’ve seen enough. Everything copied from elsewhere. Even the fake reviews lol
Hey @William_Escobedo Welcome to Shopify Community over all your website looks great but in mobile view the home page review section is not looks so good as you can see the image
you should have to make it responsive
The inflated original prices are something to reconsider. $83.14 marked down to $59.99 looks like an oddly specific number that doesn’t feel natural and people notice that. Either round the original prices to something that looks intentional or drop the fake discount framing altogether. In the beauty space trust is everything and pricing that feels manufactured works against you.
The cart redirect is the main conversion issue right now. Someone interested enough to add the PhotonVeil Mask or the Sculpta Device to their cart is already warm and ready to explore more, but sending them to a separate page kills that momentum completely.
A slider cart keeps them right where they are and for a beauty tools brand where the products complement each other really naturally, that’s a big deal. Someone adding the AuraWrap Styler should be seeing the Folixa Comb or the LumaCase Organizer right there in the cart without having to go back and browse again.
A free shipping progress bar inside that cart would also work well here. Beauty buyers respond really well to thresholds and with your price points people are often just one item away from hitting one.
From my own experience, beauty device stores live and die by social proof. Before and after content actually working does more convincing than any copy on a product page.
Don’t stack separate apps trying to get all the cart features working either. It adds load time and costs more than it needs to. Something like iCart handles the slider cart, progress bar and in-cart cross-sells altogether in one place.
Hi @William_Escobedo ,
Your store Virelle Co. looks clean and premium, and the branding feels consistent nice work!
A few honest suggestions to improve trust and conversions:
- Add a homepage meta description (it’s currently missing and affects SEO)
- Product pages need stronger trust signals (shipping time, returns, guarantees)
- Consider adding before/after results or demo videos for beauty devices
- The homepage hero section should include a clearer call-to-action
Honestly, the store looks good visually — clean, premium feel. You’ve clearly put effort into the branding.
But I’d pause on the conversion fixes for now. The trust concerns raised above are the real priority. If any content or reviews aren’t original, that’s what buyers will notice first — especially in beauty. That niche has a very sharp eye.
Also the pricing thing — $83.14 original price just doesn’t feel real. People notice that more than you’d think.
Once that’s sorted, the rest of the suggestions here are solid. Slide-out cart, mobile fixes, before/after content — all worth doing. But those only work when someone already trusts the store enough to stick around.
Good luck with it, hope the feedback helps!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such thoughtful, detailed feedback. You’re absolutely right about price framing and trust—we’ll reevaluate how discounts are presented to keep things authentic. Your cart insights are spot on, and we’re exploring an in-cart slider with visible cross-sells to maintain momentum without sending shoppers to a separate page.
hell yes, i appreciate you taking the time to respond to my page
