Keeping inventory in both Amazon MCF and physical location

Hey everyone,

We recently got Amazon MCF configured, and shopify is displaying the correct inventory under Amazon MCF.

However, I cannot figure out how to also stock the same item in my physical location as well. Under the product settings, “Inventory will be stocked at” is a dropdown menu that only allows the selection of one location. Either Amazon MCF, or my physical location. Is there any way to enable multiple locations for the item to be stocked at?

You should be able to click on Edit locations, in the inventory section, then select the locations you want to stock at.

If you don’t see that, there are 2 possibilities that come to mind:

  1. The Amazon MCF app you’re using has a legacy system, that does not allow multiple locations.

  2. You don’t have a location set up to stock that product.

It sounds like you’re able to switch to a location, so I would try doing that first, then see if the Edit locations option shows up, to add your amazon location.
