Klaviyo Reviews – Star Borders + Oversized Arrows and Close Icons on Ella Theme

Hi everyone,

I’m using the Klaviyo Reviews app with the Ella Shopify theme and facing a couple of design issues I can’t solve on my own. I’d really appreciate any help or insight from someone who has dealt with this before.

Issues:1. Stars have borders

  • Star icons show unwanted borders — black on desktop, blue on mobile

  • Klaviyo border setting is OFF, but the theme seems to override it

  1. Oversized arrows and close (X) icons

    • In the Klaviyo All Reviews modal and carousel, navigation arrows and the close button are way too large and overflow their containers from both desktop and mobile

What I tried:- Added custom CSS to remove borders and fix button/icon sizes

  • Added via Shopify Theme Customizer > App Blocks (no manual code)

  • Still not working — theme styles seem to override everything

I think I did something wrong.

How do I cleanly remove borders on stars and resize arrows/X buttons inside Klaviyo Reviews? Anyone fixed this with the Ella theme?

I’m ready to pay of anyone can help with this quickly.
