im not sure im in the right section but, im now learning to maximise the use of my shopify store. I dont know if i cant get my brain around it but, i want to offer free guides to my subscribers/students via facebook and insta and want to lead then back to my website and have the guide on there. however i dont want it to be public, i want them to be directed via an automated message (i use many chat) would i just design a landing page ? or is there a way to add a page to my website that isnt visable that i can just send them too ? i know this may be simple but i just cant seem to compute ! my website is www.melanielewendonacademy.co.uk
many thanks in advance for any help !

Any page that you create on shopify is going to be public. You can prevent google from crawling it and you can avoid linking it anywhere on the website.
But anyone with the link would be able to download it.
Hi there, @xmelaniex . Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Shopify Community with your post and questions! My name is Imogen. It’s good to meet you!
Thought you’re not able to natively hide a section of your website from visitors, you can make use of custom coding, or even some third party apps, to achieve this functionality! There is a very popular third party app called ‘LockSmith’ that is used for situations just like these! I recommend giving it a download, and exploring it’s functionality to see if it fits your needs! They also have a dedicated support team that you can contact using their contact information on their app listing, so you can reach out to them directly for assistance with getting things setup, or for assistance with any questions that you may have!

Hi @xmelaniex ,
This is Theodore from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App.
You want to offer free guides to subscribers via Facebook and Instagram, but only accessible on your website. Here are two options:
1. Landing Page:
- Create a separate webpage specifically for the guides (can be hidden from menus).
- Promote the landing page URL on Facebook/Instagram.
- Include login details (if password-protected) in a welcome email.
Benefits: Easy setup, trackable engagement, integrates with email marketing.
2. Password-Protected Page:
- Create a new page with your guides within your website.
- Set password protection on the page through your Shopify admin panel.
- Share the link with the password in your social media messages.
Benefits: Keeps content within your website structure.
Best regards,

Hello @xmelaniex
I think you need two apps
https://apps.shopify.com/required-login-for-customers
https://apps.shopify.com/hook-one-tap-login
Both are from the same vendors, so you should also get proper support.
This will fulfil your requirements
