Large quantity issues

The recent update to Shopify POS reintroduced a problem that was occuring previously.

It assumes you sell low quantities.

Due to Shopify limitations (fractional quantities), I sell fabric in centremetres. Which means that if a customer order 1 metre or more, I have to sit in front of them pressing the + sign 100 times (or more) for multiple products. I used to be able to overtype the quantity - you still can - but it doesn’t SAVE it.

So until this is fixed I will continue to get RSI and explain to my customers that the issue is with Shopify.

Could someone at least fix the overwrite / SAVE function?

What device are you using? I just tried this on the latest version of Shopify POS on the iPad and it works. Although you have to hit the enter button after typing the number, if you just tap back onto the screen it won’t save.

Thanks - still very timeconsuming to click DONE every time. Half the time it still doesn’t work. This change hasn’t been thoroughly tested.
