Launching Shopify Store

I have been trying to open my store going on 7 wks. It is written in red “Sold Out” across all products. There’s no place to add to cart or anywhere to purchase items!! I have customers emailing me asking why they can’t purchase anything. Can someone help me bc I’m ready to throw in the towel!!!

Narrow down the issue.

  1. Are the products inventory properly configured?
  2. Are the products being synced by another website or app?
  3. Is the theme correctly displaying the availability?
  4. What settings does the theme have for displaying the availability?
  5. Have you tried a different theme?

Hello, thanks for replying. I’m new at this so I have no idea. I went to a 3 day webinar with Adrian Morrison, I purchased the premium plan. I was promised to build my store, 20 products plus 100 with Zendrop, and daily support. I couldn’t keep up and sail through his Webinar bc I’m not tech savvy so here I am 7 wks later and my store just went live yesterday but customers can’t shop. How can I get someone to review my store and how much more will it cost me?

Ah, you got sucked into the Morrison scam. Got it.

You’re far better off deleting everything and starting over, go through and remove any user access if you granted any, or better yet, get a new Stopify Store entirely, download the Dawn theme for free, and watching some free YouTube videos.

Anything realistic you have been promised can easily be had for free or dirt cheap.

To add to the checklist above – make sure:

  • there is a location which can fulfil your online orders
  • your shipping is properly configured to deliver to your buyers

Now, if you’ve been promised daily support, why not to reach out to this support first or ask for your money back?

If you’re now abandoned, then it’s time to check documentation – it’s actually has a lot of answers…

Say, start at https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/fulfillment/setup/locations/fulfillment#setting-up-location-fulfillment-for-online-orders

Assuming that product ARE in stock and fullfilment location exists (cause ther would not be anywhere toadd stock to):

  • check if you added * shipping profile(s) for the countries you are selling to and that products are assigned to it.

Hi @BayouSoul ,
If all products are showing “Sold Out” and there’s no Add to cart button, it usually means your inventory is set to 0 or inventory tracking is enabled without stock added.

  1. Go to Products → select a product
  2. Scroll to Inventory
  3. Check:
  • “Track quantity” is either unchecked, OR
  • Quantity is greater than 0
  1. Also make sure the product is set to Active
  2. Under Sales channels, confirm Online Store is selected

If it’s happening on all products, check:
Settings → Locations and ensure inventory is assigned to a location.

Can you share your site url so that I can check and gave you the proper solution.
