LCP auf 2 reduzieren

Hallo zusammen,

ich versuche nun seit Wochen den LCP unseres Shop von ca. 10 auf unter 2 zu bekommen. Ich habe die Startseite schon komplett ausgedünnt, Bilder kompremiert und überflüssige Apps gelöscht. Trotzdem haben wir einen LCP von 10. Kann sich jemand mal deas PageSpeed Ergebnis anschauen, vielleicht habt ihr ja einen Tipp für mich.

A high LCP is not always caused by images. In many Shopify stores the biggest issue is render blocking JavaScript heavy apps or theme code that delays the main content from loading.

  • Whether your hero section is loading too late because of sliders or animations.
  • Unused JavaScript and CSS that could be deferred or removed.
  • Third-party apps like chat widgets tracking scripts and review apps as they can significantly impact LCP.

If you have already optimized the images I would focus on the theme and app scripts next. In my experience thats often where the biggest improvements come from.

Hallo Jan, ich habe mir den PSI-Bericht angeschaut: Bei dir ist der LCP offenbar nicht das Bild, sondern die H2-Headline „WALDDESIGNERIN…“. Das heißt: nach Bild-Kompression und App-Cleanup würde ich jetzt nicht weiter an Produktbildern suchen, sondern an dem, was das Rendering der ersten sichtbaren Sektion verzögert — theme.css/section-header.css, Font-Loading und ggf. Animationen im Hero/Rich-Text-Bereich.

Praktischer Test: in einer Theme-Kopie die Hero-/Rich-Text-Animationen deaktivieren, Systemfont oder font-display: swap testen und unnötige CSS oberhalb des Folds reduzieren. Wenn der LCP dann deutlich fällt, war es Render-Delay, nicht Dateigröße. Hier ist ein genauerer LCP-Guide dazu: Shopify LCP Under 2.5s: 7 Fixes With Before/After Data (2026)
