Hello,

I recently the the connection between shopify and my LMS Learn Upon became disconnected. I was advised to uninstall and re-install the app. However when I was following instructions from Learn Upon, I was told to make a new app from scratch, which I have started to do. However some of the steps I need to follow don’t show up in the options for the app configuration and I am unsure how to proceed.

I am stuck on Step 2 - Register the new app to use in your LU Portal. I cannot find the place to put the URL or the redirect URL.

Any help I can get would be appreciated.

Here’s what you can check:

  • Go to your app in the Shopify Partners dashboard.

  • Under App setup, find the URLs section.

  • In the App URL field, enter your LearnUpon portal URL (e.g., https://yourportal.learnupon.com).

  • In Allowed redirection URL(s), paste: Sign in | LearnUpon

  • Hit Save.

If you’re not seeing the URLs section, double-check that you created a Custom App (not an extension app). You may need to restart the app setup with the right type if it’s missing.

Here’s how to find the correct place to enter the URLs:

  • Log in to your Shopify Partner Dashboard.
  • Select your App (or click “Create app” if you haven’t started it yet).
  • In the App overview, go to the “App setup” section from the left-hand menu.
  • Scroll to the URLs section.

Now you’ll see fields like:

App URL – this is where you paste your LearnUpon portal’s base URL (e.g., https://yourcompany.learnupon.com))

Allowed redirection URL(s) – paste this exactly:
https://app.learnupon.com/shopify/auth

After entering those, scroll down and click Save.

Hi Steven,

My problem Is that I don’t have the “App Setup” option in the left-hand menu like you suggest. In fact, I am starting to suspect I am not in the right place at all. Here is a screenshot of what I see.

I looked in the App Settings, and Configuration tabs, but never found the spot for putting the URLs.

Do you have any suggestions for me?
