Let’s Talk Shop App - and how to rank.

As a title states I’d like to ask a few questions about the shop pay app.

You can type short and long tail keywords in the search bar which brings up product results in that category..

I’ve noticed that mine aren’t ranking in the proper category and only show up if you type my brand name directly. I’ve tried many versions. The generic category for my product, Bloody Mary Mix, brings up tons of bottled mixes And they all seem to be from the major retailers, or 3P sellers of those products..

So.. does anybody Have any thoughts or has heard any new developments with the shop pay app on how to rank or get higher in the search results..

  1. Are they planning to start running ads on there?

  2. Is there a modal that you can access to place just certain products of yours to show up on the shop pay app?

  3. Is there a place to add keywords or search terms so your products show up on the shop pay app?

Anybody with experience in this market have any insight? Links, articles, experience, etc? I believe the shop pay app is the next big thing to focus on considering that since they moved to one page checkout it seems to be signing into shop pay is in everybody’s face when they’re checking out..
