I’m working on a new idea for a Shopify app, and I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Here’s the concept:
The app will allow customers to pay for products only after they’ve received them.
For example:
When a customer places an order, the payment is pre-authorized (the amount is “held” on their credit card) but won’t be charged until the product is delivered.
It’s similar to how Wolt handles payments – you only pay when the food arrives at your door.
Why is this beneficial?
It gives customers more confidence to place orders, especially with stores they’re trying for the first time.
It can significantly increase the number of orders on your Shopify store!
How does it work?
The customer places an order, and the system pre-authorizes the payment.
We track the shipment.
Once the product is delivered – the payment is automatically processed!
