Limit on Calling External Web Service and process the response

I would like to ask if Shopify has limits on calling an external API/web service? For example, I will call our company’s API service from Shopify. And when I need a response from our company’s API service. I need to know the limit per minute. I need to know the infra limit like CPU, memory limits when doing the call from Shopify to our company’s web service and getting the response.

Is there any open documentation? Information seems not available in the help center or maybe I just couldn’t find it. I also don’t think that this is what I am looking for: Shopify API rate limits because this is Shopify APIs.

Hi @aih_kimg :rescue_worker_s_helmet: there’s a misconception here, shopify is NOT a hosting service nor a server for your application and through that arbitrary network requests.

There are only specific system that do external networking and they list limitations.
