Limiting product purchase to 1 per customer (not per order)

Hi,

I hope all is well.

I would like to know how i can limit a product to one per customer. I already know how i can limit the order to 1 per purchase but i want it to be in such a way that when you order it once, you cant order a product anymore.

If i limit it to 1 per order, customers keep on ordering the same thing multiple times.

There are many apps with the name “Order Limits.” Can you please clarify which one you are referring to? Can’t find any that limit by customer.

@RamtinDB I know it’s been sometime since your post - pretty sure you’d have worked out a solution by now.

Can I know more about why you’d want to enforce this limit? Trying to understand why preventing the purchase makes more sense than letting it through.

Is it because the items are in high demand, and you’d want to spread it out to as many unique customers as possible?
